Cave Tubing Adventure – Itinerary


Minimum height requirement: 40 inches (required for cave tubing)

  1. Scenic Drive
    Approximately 1-hour drive to Nohoch Cheʼen Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle.
  2. Preparation & Gear-Up
    Change clothes, receive safety briefing, and get fitted with tubing equipment.
  3. Jungle Hike to the Caves
    Enjoy a 30-minute guided hike through lush rainforest while carrying your tubes. Your guide will explain the local flora and fauna along the way.
  4. Cave Exploration (Optional Adventure)
    Exit the tubes for a short cave exploration, including:

    • Rock jump

    • A short swim through a narrow passage
      (Rock jumping and tight-space swim are optional and supervised. Kids love it.)

  5. Cave Tubing & Open River Float
    Re-enter your tubes and float through the cave system, then drift downstream on the open river, enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature.

  6. Return of Equipment
    Short walk back to return gear and change clothes.

  7. Return Trip
    Relaxing drive back along the same route to your drop-off location.
